Tank to Flame

How Propane Works—and Why It Matters

A plainspoken guide to the fuel, the equipment around it, and the people who make propane work every day.

The book

The story behind the tank.

Most people know propane through the places it shows up: a tank behind a house, a blue flame under a skillet, a grill cylinder, an RV, a delivery truck, or a furnace keeping a family comfortable when the weather turns.

Tank to Flame follows the fuel from its source to its everyday uses. It explains why propane behaves as it does, how the equipment around it works together, and why details that seem small can matter.

The goal is simple: replace jargon with useful understanding and give readers better questions to ask about the systems they depend on.
